This house was what we refer to as a "pop a top" where the roof was taken off in order to do it correctly and get the results we were after. This home is located in the popular "west end" of Richmond, VA very close to Short Pump Town Center. It is a quad level with many of the interior walls construction of cement block which made the renovation more challenging where we wanted to eliminate walls. It turned out beautiful and the young couple who purchased it from us are very happy.
This beach bungalow remodel turned into a major kitchen renovation by removing an existing wall opening up the entire space. The master bathroom was gutted and we also updated all interior/exterior doors, interior trim, restored the existing staircase and complemented it all by refinishing all of the existing hardwood floors. To say it turned out gorgeous is an understatement.
